“I first met the Noels while they were both stationed at MacDill. Melanie served as MacDill’s Command Chief and I was selected as her Honorary Command Chief and Michael was with SOCOM. They always said they would like to volunteer for us after they retired, so I was thrilled when they decided to move back to Tampa after their retirement. We are very excited and honored to have such a distinguished duo join our team and look forward to working with both Melanie and Michael to build a supportive and active Advisory Board. Both of them bring such a vast military experience and knowledge having served for over 50 years collectively in the Air Force.” said Troop Rewards’ Founder, Tom Burkett.
“I was drawn to Troops Rewards for numerous reasons but to sum it all up, Troop Reward’s values align with my values and therefore I could not wait to help out. Serving others, especially our Armed Forces is extremely rewarding.” stated incoming Co-Chair, Melanie Noel. Her husband, Michael Noel added, “As a former Senior Enlisted Leader, I’ve seen the positive impacts that Troop Rewards has on Service Members and their families. I am thrilled to be able to join such a first class organization and continue to serve our military families.”
About Troop Rewards
Troop Rewards’ mission is to provide RnR Recovery Retreats to our deployed Armed Forces, and their dependents, after returning home from a stressful overseas deployment. The retreats create opportunities for these families to meet other military families who have dealt with similar hardships during their deployments and to bond over their shared experiences and in the process create lasting memories with their families and friends. www.trooprewards.org
