Local leaders will gather at the Sierra Club Office to demand land conservation funding
WHAT: Leaders from the environmental and civic communities will call on Governor DeSantis and Florida’s budget leaders to restore full funding to Florida’s land conservation programs. This press conference is one of seven gatherings across the state, which follow a letter signed by over 120 Florida businesses and organizations demanding the State’s elected officials save the real Florida before it is too late.
Sister events will be held in Fort Myers, Fort Walton Beach, Gainesville, Gulf Breeze, St. Augustine, and Pensacola as part of the Florida Forever Days of Action December 13-14.
