COO Kye Mitchell and Vertical President Mary Lynn Benners Recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts
November 19, 2019- Kforce announced today that two of its female leaders, Chief Operations Officer Kye Mitchell and Vertical President Mary Lynn Benners, have been named to Staffing Industry Analysts’ Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list. In its fifth year, this list celebrates the most impactful and powerful women in the staffing industry. This is Mitchell’s second consecutive year being named and Benner’s first time on the list.
Although women make up 55% of the staffing industry, only 40% of its leaders are women according to LinkedIn studies. The World Economic Forum reports closing the gender gap in the workforce could increase GDP by an average of 35%. The Global Power 150 aims to honor female leaders who are making a difference in the industry during a time when closing the gender gap is so critical.
“Leadership is crucial to any organization, and having two of our own outstanding female leaders named to such an admired list speaks to the level of impact they have in the industry and at Kforce. We are proud to honor them today,” said Kforce CEO David Dunkel.
Mitchell is an unwavering supporter of women in the workforce. This year, she hosted a live webcast for Kforce associates and encouraged women to share their personal stories and professional experiences with each other. She actively advocates for women in STEM careers and spoke to the evolution of gender diversity in technology at Professional Diversity Network’s Women in Business and Technology Career Fair in Orange County, CA.
Mitchell continues, “I hope to encourage others, especially the women in our firm, to step up and make a difference.”
