The Myers Home Team Keller Williams donated the commission from the sale of a home, totaling $7,100 to the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts. This is the 4th year the real estate team has donated their commission from the sale of a home to a local non-profit, as part of the Annual Myers Gives Campaign.
PALM HARBOR, FL (October 30, 2019) — Exemplifying the core values of the largest real estate franchise in the world, the Keller Williams Myers Home Team Market Center launched the 4th Annual Giveback Campaign, which award a local non-profit with 100% of the commission from the sale of a home. Local Non-Profits competed for the donation through a online voting poll that was open to the general public from August 1-21.
“We believe in supporting the community where we live and work,” said Jordan Myers, team leader of Keller Williams Myers Home Team. “It’s our way of saying thanks to our friends, neighbors and clients.”
This year’s recipient was Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts, they received $7,100 from the Myers Home Team. This is there second year in a row receiving the donation. The check was presented at the Tarpon High School Band’s Annual family and friend’s night on October 29th.
Along with the online voting poll, two events were held in support of the campaign to bring awareness to the local non-profits. An open house took place August 10, 2019, from 10:00am-1:00pm, at 6815 Twelve Oaks Blvd., Tampa, FL 33634. The commission from the sale of this home was the donation to the winning non-profit. The home was under contract for more than the asking price in less than 24 hours.
The Non-Profit Mix and Mingle event was held on August 20, 2019 from 5:00-7:00pm at BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse Westfield Countryside. Participants who showed up to these two events earned extra votes for their non-profit.
