It’s Lucky 13 Anniversary for Gallagher Law

November 10, 2019 by Post

This year marks the thirteenth anniversary for Gallagher & Associates Law Firm, P.A. in St. Petersburg and that suits it’s founder Charles Gallagher just fine. “I was born on the 13th so it has always been a lucky number for me,” notes Gallagher. Gallagher opened the firm in 2006 after practice with a large downtown Tampa law firm and a boutique St. Petersburg insurance litigation practice. “The early days, it was just me, with two friends ‘of counsel’. I was in business development mode laying the foundation, while taking referrals and new cases that walked in the door,” said Gallagher. “I took over Piper Ludin’s office, which was pretty sizeable; so I had my tricks to make it look like there were more folks here than just me when clients were in the office; like nameplates of family friends on the other office doors, Gallagher went on.” Thirteen years later those nameplates are on display in a hidden corner of the firm as a testament to its humble beginnings.

The firm’s practice remains focused on real estate litigation, consumer law, insurance litigation, and business law. But giving back was always part of G&A’s ethos, supporting charitable causes such as the Breast Cancer 3 Day, Making Strides and other charities. Gallagher is a graduate of the 2009 Class of Leadership St. Pete and the 2018 Class of Leadership Pinellas. He founded a non-profit, C&C Lemonade Factory, after his daughter’s fight with cancer to advocate and raise funds for childhood cancer. He also sits in the board of Little Light of Mine, a local non-profit with provides professional portraits to kids battling life threatening illnesses. He is also a member of the RCS Advancement and Development Committee. He recently termed off as Chair of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Family Advisory Council.

“We are so fortunate to serve such amazing clients over the years; and we also owe our so much of our success to our team and firm business partners. I can’t want to see what the next thirteen years bring, but I am resolved to both serve our clients and help those in need along the way,” says Gallagher.
