Community members invited to Legacy Trail extension public meetings

SARASOTA COUNTY – Community members are invited to attend a public meeting to give input on the Legacy Trail extension. Sarasota County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources staff will share a brief presentation at the start of each meeting, followed by open discussion and public input opportunities.   

Both meetings will be identical and will allow for community members to provide input about the design and amenities along the extension. Community members wishing to learn more or share input are encouraged to attend one of these meetings: 

  • 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13, Payne Park auditorium, 2100 E. Laurel St., Sarasota. 
  • 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14, The 360 Church, 5250 McIntosh Road, Sarasota.
