City Launching Strategic Planning Session for 2030

City of St. Pete Beach – Vision 2030

The City of St. Pete Beach launched the strategic planning process in September 2019.  The outcome of this strategic planning project will be a working document taking the City of St. Pete Beach to the goal created collaboratively.  Vision- 2030  

 The collaboration is taking place with 4 groups within the city. 

1.) City Staff

2.) Elected Officials

3.) Business Owners

4.) Residents

The strategic plan began with city staff members, the elected officials begins this project on November 13th during the regular commission meeting. Business owners will meet on Thursday December 5th, and residents who volunteer to participate will also begin at the beginning of December.   

Once the strategic plan has been created and approved by elected officials the goal is to begin implementing the plan in the spring of 2020.  This program is being organized by the city manager Alex Rey, while there are volunteers within the city staff that will be leading the additional workshops.
