Firmo Construction Selected to Construct Hilton’s Newest Hotel Model
Sarasota, Fla. (November 4, 2019) – Firmo Construction, local sustainable construction management firm based in Sarasota, has been hired to build Hilton’s newest property model in the Gulf Coast region. Known as Tru by Hilton, the game-changing hotel brand has spread across the nation, recently making its way to the state of Florida in Sebring, and now to Manatee County.
“The Firmo team is excited to pioneer this new brand and venture for Hilton and bring it to our Gulf Coast region,” said Eric Collin, president of Firmo Construction. “Having already completed builds for multiple Hilton models in the area, we’re excited to continue our long-standing partnership with the brand.”
The future three-story Tru by Hilton will be located in Bradenton by I-75 and SR-70, featuring about 81 rooms, and will showcase Hilton’s newest brand known for its vibrant and youthful, yet affordable and comfortable quality. Firmo Construction will work alongside developer, Divine Hospitality, Rick Toenjes from Valley Bank, and architect Abhay Pradhan with AP Architecture to bring this new model to fruition. The build will also be an infill lot development, which is an approach that will result in ecological benefits and also reduce development pressure on surrounding areas.
Firmo Construction is a local, sustainable construction management firm known for their innovative build projects, such as the expansion of Rosemary Square in downtown Sarasota, the ground-up build of Hampton Inn and Suites by SRQ Airport, and the revitalized Homewood Suites by Hilton, which was recognized by Hilton and won the Hilton Conversion of the Year award. Firmo has been recognized as the 35th fastest growing company in the Gulf Coast and continues to expand their expertise across the state.
