Modelithics® and Würth Elektronik® Release 20 New Microwave Global Models™ for Ferrite Beads, Capacitors and Inductors

TAMPA, Florida and Waldenburg, Germany (October 15, 2019) – Modelithics, Inc. has completed the development of 20 new broadband Microwave Global Models™ for ten ferrite beads, seven (7) capacitor and three (3) inductor families available from Würth Elektronik. The models were developed as a collaboration through the Modelithics Vendor Partner (MVP) Program. 

Many of the new models are substrate scalable, pad scalable and part value scalable, as well as validated up to 30 GHz. The new models cover the Würth capacitor series of: 

WCAP-CSRF (NP0) 0201 and 0402 

WCAP-CSMH (NP0) 0603 and 0805 

WCAP-CSMH (X7R) 0603 

WCAP-CSMH (X7R) 0.8mm 0805 

WCAP-CSMH (X7R) 1.25mm 0805 

The (3) new models cover the Würth inductor series of: WE-AC HC 1010 

WE-AC HC 1212 

WE-CAIR 5910 

Also available are 10 new models that cover the Würth ferrite beads series for: 

Wide Band: WE-CBA 0402, 0603 and 1206 

High Speed: WE-CBA 0603 and 0805 

High Current: WE-CBA 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 1806 

The Modelithics-Würth models are available within the Modelithics COMPLETE Library, which is available for use with multiple EDA tools*, including Keysight Technologies’ PathWave Advanced Design System (ADS), Keysight Technologies’ Genesys, NI AWR Design Environment®, ANSYS® HFSS™, Sonnet® Suites™ and Cadence® Spectre® RF. (*Model availability may vary by simulator)
