Dick Pope/Polk County Public Relations Chapter Professional Development Meeting at SUN ‘n FUN on October 16

Carol Cali will provide insight on marketing campaigns at SUN ‘n FUN during FPRA’s October professional development session.

LAKELAND, Fla., October 7, 2019 – Public relations and marketing professionals are encouraged to join local members of the Florida Public Relations (FPRA) association to learn best practices and tools for creating, producing, and executing events of all sizes. The meeting, which includes a hot breakfast and networking opportunities, will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2019 from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at SUN ‘n FUN, located at 4175 Medulla Road, Lakeland, FL 33811. The meeting is open to the public. Online registration is open until Monday, October 14 at FPRApolk.org or contact info@fprapolk.org. The cost for members who pre-register is $17 and guests $22. Student members who pre-register may attend for $7 and student guests may attend for $12.
Carol Cali, Director of Marketing and Media Relations, SUN ‘n FUN will share insights and experience as to the organization’s success and lessons learned from a wide array of events and activities on its campus including the Aerospace Expo, the Aerospace Center for Excellence, the Florida Air Museum, a high school academy, a high school flying club, facilities rentals, and constant volunteer recruitment. Attendees will learn how a small, newly formed marketing team creates, produces and executes numerous local, national and international marketing strategies simultaneously by evangelizing a cohesive mission and preserving an iconic brand.
The Dick Pope/ Polk County Chapter of FPRA provides professional development, accreditation and certification, leadership opportunities, recognition, networking, and funding of educational and professional development programs for members.
