
Community Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce it has selected Tammy Briant Spratling to serve as Executive Director effective September 9, 2019. Briant Spratling comes to Community Tampa Bay with an extensive background in non-profit education as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives. She is a civil rights scholar and has taught diversity and inclusion seminars across the nation. She has over a decade of experience in non-profit education administration and was Assistant Dean of Students at Stetson University College of Law. She teaches a course on the Modern Civil Rights Movement at Stetson Law and teaches education law at the University of South Florida.

The mission of Community Tampa Bay is to cultivate inclusive leaders to change communities through dialogue and cross-cultural interactions. CTB specializes in creating programming that values diversity, inclusion, and engagement across aspects of social identity. Programs such as ANYTOWN and Advocacy Academy develop inclusive leaders who empower each other to realize a shared vision of a community free from all forms of discrimination.
