New Port Richey, Florida (September 27, 2019) – Access Health Care Physicians, LLC, is pleased to welcome Monica Esposito, DO, to its medical staff. Dr. Esposito will join Dr. David Herndon’s expanding practice at 5500 Little Road, New Port Richey, Florida 34655. Call 727-372-1005 to schedule an appointment. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment.
Dr. Esposito comes to Access Health Care directly from completing her family medicine residency at St. Petersburg General Hospital where she was selected as Chief Resident in recognition of her leadership skills. Dr. Esposito was also head of the Research Committee in her third year as a resident and prior to that served as a Graduate Medical Education Lecture Schedule Coordinator. Dr. Esposito also served as Chief Patient Advocate from July 2017 through July 2018. She was a member of several committees and has authored many publications and presentations.
Dr. Esposito received her medical degree Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Bradenton campus and holds an undergraduate degree (B.S.) in biology from the University of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, and American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
