On October 12th, two leading Parkinson’s disease specialists will present the latest information and findings on the physical and psychological challenges of Parkinson’s, the progressive, degenerative brain disorder that affects millions of people around the world.
Mary Spremulli, MA, CCC-SLP, owner and founder of Voice Aerobics LLC will speak on “Addressing Swallowing Challenges in Parkinson’s Disease.” Dr. London Butterfield, a neuropsychologist with St. Anthony’s Hospital BayCare Medical Group, will speak on “Tools for Enhancing Cognitive Fitness and Memory.”
Hosted by Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s, the event is free and open to members of the Parkinson’s community, healthcare professionals, and the public; advance registration is required.
The free
event will take place from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Murdock Baptist Church, 18375
