Sarasota, FL – September 9, 2019 – The Central West Coast Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) has a new corporate sponsor for the 2019-2020 fiscal year: Achieva Credit Union. As a sponsor, Achieva Credit Union is underwriting the chapter’s monthly networking and educational programs.
According to chapter president Kim Livengood, APR, CPRC, of Eclipse Agency, the sponsorship came about when CWC-FPRA leadership approached the credit union in search of banking services. Janet Hazuda, Achieva’s market development officer, appreciated the opportunity and implemented it. “We’re beyond excited about this newly formed partnership,” Livengood said. “It’s just really good karma to have the support of businesses in our community.”
“At Achieva, one of our core principles is to ‘do the right thing’ and that means giving back to our local communities in various ways, including sponsorships,” said Hazuda, Achieva Credit Union. “We are happy to support the CWC-FPRA this year.”
