Spring Hill, Florida (September 6, 2019) – Oak Hill Hospital hosts a Congestive Heart Failure education series for those living with congestive heart failure (CHF). The meeting is held on the fourth Tuesday of every month (except holidays) on the Oak Hill Hospital campus in the 6th Floor South Tower family waiting area. The next session will be held on Tuesday, September 24. The series is held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and is hosted by Oak Hill Hospital’s Care Assure Patient Nurse Navigator Lisa Cierpka, BSN, RN, CCM (Certified Case Manager), CV-SHD (Cardiovascular Structural Heart Disease).
The monthly education series helps those who attend to gain a sense of empowerment and control through the education provided by these clinicians. Participants will reduce stress and anxiety by learning more about this chronic disease and they will be able to collaborate with others who have the same chronic condition. Above all they will also learn about resources that are available to them.
