St. Petersburg, FL—BonSue Brandvik, author of the “Spirits of the Belleview Biltmore” series, is the featured presenter. Brandvik has 20+ years’ experience as a writer, speaker, trainer, editor, and photographer. In addition to historic/paranormal fiction, Brandvik has published two children’s books, Where Do You Live, Exactly? and Coal for Christmas.
Brandvik will present information on a range of writing topics, including “world-building basics” so you can build your world of characters, setting, time and genre while exploring other techniques to incorporate all five senses into your writing. Participants will have a one-hour breakout session to write a brief outline or begin the first chapter of a novel or short story. Those who are already working on a project may bring the work for constructive input. Brandvik and other BAPWG professional writers will be available for individual assistance throughout the breakout session. Handouts provided. Bring a brown bag snack if you wish. Water will be served. Materials Fee: $10. Aspiring and professional writers are invited to attend and to share this announcement on your social media communications.
