September 6, 2019 by Post

The public is invited to attend the 2019 Florida Cattlemen’s Association (FCA) Ranch Rodeo Finals and Cowboy Heritage Festival on Friday, September 27, 2019 and Saturday, September 28, 2019. The rodeo and festivities will be held at the Silver Spurs Arena at Osceola Heritage Park, located at 1875 Silver Spur Lane in Kissimmee, Florida.

Heritage festival events begin at 8am on Friday, September 27 and include a working cow dog competition, the FCA ranch horse competition, a whip-popping contest, cowboy poetry, music, history and storytelling and silver sorting. The ranch rodeos, beginning each day at 7pm, will feature ranch bronc riding, colt riding, a boot scramble, double mugging, women’s team sorting, wild cow milking and team doctoring.

“The FCA annual Ranch Rodeo and Cowboy Heritage Festival is an event we look forward to all year long,” said Matt Pearce, Florida Cattlemen’s Association President. “These events help us celebrate our heritage and our industry while educating the public about our way of life. The events and competitions included in our festivities are based on real-life operations that happen throughout our state on a daily basis, and we enjoy being able to share our heritage with our community.”

Event sponsors include the Florida Cattlemen’s Association, Silver Spurs Rodeo, Fresh from Florida and Experience Kissimmee Florida.
