
‘Shake It Up!’ to feature panel of renowned regional distillers discussing strategies for standing out from the crowd
Sarasota, FL – August 26, 2019 – The Central West Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) is hosting “Shake It Up,” a special event for marketing, communications and public relations professionals, on Wednesday, September 25, 3:30 – 5:30 p.m., at The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime (801 N. Lime Ave. Sarasota). The lively program will feature spirited discussion by high-level representatives from four area distilleries. Admission is $25/CWC-FPRA members, $35/guests. Stephanie Roberts of ABC 7’s Suncoast View will moderate the panel as representatives of the distilleries share secrets on how they create “buzz” in a crowded marketplace. The panelists are Lee Nelson and Patrick O’Brien, co-founders of Florida Cane Distillery; Philip McDaniel, CEO of St. Augustine Distillery; Carolyn Rudy, VP of Sales & Marketing, St. Petersburg Distillery; and Troy Roberts, CEO, Siesta Key Rum.
The panelists will present essential techniques in how to shake things up in a crowded marketplace, based upon these key questions:
- How do you set yourself apart from the crowd?
- How do you get people to read your materials and make a splash?
- How can you maintain that buzz that keeps people wanting more?
The event, which is sponsored by Gonzmart Family of Restaurants and catered by Cornerstone & Company, begins with networking from 3:30-4:00 p.m. followed by a welcome message and the panel discussion. Afterward, guests can enjoy beverage samples and lite bites.
