RCS Pinellas to Host Faith-Based Luncheon

August 24, 2019 by Post

Clearwater, Fla. – RCS Pinellas will host a Faith-Based Leadership Luncheon celebrating the religious community’s relationship with RCS on August 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church. Keynote speakers include Pastor James V. Williams, Pastor Tom Hudgins, and RCS Community Outreach Director, Jonita Lewis. They’ll share how the local faith-based community can get involved with RCS Pinellas and our mission to provide help and hope to those in need.

“While RCS Pinellas is a secular organization, we would not be without the faith, passion, and commitment of several churches and synagogues who established this organization in 1967,” says Kirk Ray Smith, President and CEO of RCS Pinellas. “A significant portion of our 2,500-volunteer workforce is made up of individuals and groups from the church community throughout Pinellas County. It’s hard to measure the amount of time, talent and treasure they graciously donate to RCS year after year. I can’t wait to celebrate with them at this year’s luncheon.”

The RCS Faith-Based Leadership Luncheon will be held at Calvary Church, 110 McMullen Booth Rd., Clearwater, Florida 33759. This free event runs from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Jonita Lewis atjonita.lewis@rcspinellas.org.
