TAMPA, FL, August 19, 2019 – Office Evolution, the largest coworking franchise in the country with 64 locations across the United States, is pleased to announce it will open a second office in the Tampa market. The new office will occupy a 13,000-square-foot space in the premier, waterfront Pointe on Harbour Island in downtown Tampa. Construction is currently underway, and it is set to open this fall.
The Pointe, located at 601 S. Harbour Island Blvd., overlooks Downtown Tampa and shares the waterfront with American Social and Jackson’s Bistro & Sushi Bar, both popular dining destinations that will serve as built-in amenities for Office Evolution clients.
Senior Director John Fish and Managing Principal Scott Garlick, with Cushman & Wakefield’s Tampa-based Tenant Advisory Group, represented John and Karen Przedpelski, co-owners of Office Evolution Tampa, in the lease. The landlord is Convergent Capital Partners.
“Our first location in Westshore opened to overwhelming demand from solopreneurs and small business owners, and with all that’s happening in downtown Tampa, we feel now is the perfect time to expand our footprint into the downtown market,” said John Przedpelski. “We look forward to bringing our brand of flexible and functional alternative workspace to what we feel is one of the hottest office locations in Tampa Bay.”
Office Evolution is a rapidly expanding brand that offers coworking space, private offices, virtual memberships, conference rooms, business address plans and additional business services such as phone answering and private mailboxes. The Harbour Island location will have approximately 45 private offices, which can each accommodate from one to ten workers, as well as traditional, collaborative coworking space.
Additionally, a 3,000-square-foot private waterfront terrace, equipped with tables and chairs, will provide an area for clients to work or take a break while enjoying views of the bay in the fresh air. Clients will also have access to an array of amenities, including private conference rooms and private day offices, a café area with complimentary tea and coffee, 24-hour accessibility and plug-n-play capabilities. Rental options include hourly, daily, month-to-month and long-term plans.
“Office Evolution’s new Harbour Island office will offer unparalleled access to the Downtown Tampa’s many amenities, from the exciting development happening at Water Street and the Tampa Convention Center, to the Tampa Riverwalk, which seamlessly connects to the northern end of downtown,” said Cushman & Wakefield’s Fish. “Combined with Office Evolution’s tailored service, it will truly be a one-of-a-kind place to work.”
As Office Evolution builds out the Harbor Island space, it recently completed the expansion of its existing coworking presence at Lincoln Center, in Tampa’s Westshore Business District, to accommodate a strong and growing demand from clients. The Lincoln Center office, which opened in March 2018, currently serves approximately 75 clients in 38 offices and coworking space.
“We are proud of our Ohana, and we are thrilled to see John and Karen continue to expand their market presence,” said Office Evolution COO and Global Workspace Association Board Member William Edmundson. “Our rapidly expanding network of workspaces is home for business owners who need a place to realize their dreams. Owners like John and Karen bring the ideal experience set to ensure our members have the space to do their thing.”
