Festival of Animals and Pet Blessing October 4!
Tampa, FL— Bring your furry, finned and feathered friends to the Franciscan Center on Friday, October 4, 4 to 8 p.m. for a free festival celebrating World Animal Day and the Feast of St. Francis. The neighborhood event features live music from Joey Donovan and the Lint Rollers, pet-friendly vendors, a pet blessing and animal-themed activities for the whole family! It’s all on the beautiful riverfront grounds of the Franciscan Center!
“We are expanding on the annual Franciscan Center pet blessing in an inclusive community even honoring the special bond that exists between humans and animals,” says Franciscan Center CEO Wendy Leigh.
The Franciscan
Center is a non- profit, 501(3)(c), private retreat house sponsored by
Franciscan Sisters of Allegany, NY with dedicated laity who are committed in
carrying out the mission.
