First half 2019 new-home sales exceed all of 2018

August 11, 2019 by Post

TAMPA, FLA. – New-home sales increase nearly 20 percent during the first six months of this year, surpassing sales for the entire 2018 calendar year for the Florida division of Texas-based Kindred Homes, reports division president Robert Meadows.
With homes ranging from $189,000 to $280,000 in four Florida communities, Kindred attributes the strong sales to newly introduced residential designs and a re-alignment of its sales organization. Since February, sales have been under the direction of Florida sales veteran Kathie McDaniel, owner/broker of Grande Real Estate Services.
Kindred builds at the communities of:

∙ Poinciana in Kissimmee, where its homes range in size from 1,475 to 2,000 square feet of living space and prices start at $189,000.

∙ Cape Coral where prices range from $189,000 to $280,000 for floor plans between 1,475 and 3,000 square feet of living space.

∙ Celebration Pointe in Fort Pierce, where homes are priced from $200,000, and floor plans range from 1,475 to 2,000 square feet of living space.

∙ Summercrest in Ocala with homes starting at $179,000 and ranging in size from 1,475 to 2,000 square feet of living space.

While sales spiked in all communities where Kindred Homes builds, Summercrest led the charge with a 57 percent sales increase, says Meadows.
