ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Your Real Stories presents Off The Wall on August 27 at the ArtsXchange. “Live performances in intimate settings based on local stories that bridge the human experience,” the monthly “Theatrical Journalism” storytelling series features a script based on an interview with St. Petersburg native, artist, and entrepreneur Catherine Weaver.
Ms. Weaver owns and operates Uniquely Original Arts; she serves as President and Treasurer for the Empowerment Center For Young Enterprisers; and she runs Cultural Parties With Friends (https://www.facebook.com/culturalartpartieswithfriends/).
The script will be performed by actor Renata Eastlick. Renata has worked in Theatre, Film, TV, voiceover and commercials. Voiceover work includes “Caveira” in the hit video games Rainbox Six Siege and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Some theatrical credits include: Mamma Mia, Good People, Two Trains Running and In The Heights (American Stage); The Nutcracker (House Theatre of Chicago); Eclipsed (Women’s Theatre Project); Xanadu, Rocky Horror (Slow Burn Theatre Company) and Hairspray (Actors’ Playhouse). Lillian Dunlap and Jaye Sheldon founded/co-run Your Real Stories. Their St. Pete Stories was part of inclusivity and diversity training for the City of St. Pete. Their program on homelessness among LGBTQ youth, Out of the Shadows, sold out at the Palladium. They partner with USFSP’s OPEN Network, The Dali Museum, The Tampa Bay Times, and many others on continuous productions including Story Days in Tampa Bay (a festival of 20-plus events in October).
