Halfacre Construction Company awarded Englewood Elementary School replacement project

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. – Halfacre Construction Company, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, was recently awarded the project to replace and add an approximately 14,000-square-foot building at Englewood Elementary School in Englewood, Fla.

The new structure is currently in the design phase by Fawley Bryant Architecture, with the project projected to break ground in spring 2020. The current building No. 6 will be demolished after the replacement is completed. The newest structure will house classrooms and other educational spaces for elementary children.

The approximately $5.5 million project will be phased to accommodate an active campus. Located at 150 N. McCall Road in Englewood, the current campus consists of 12 buildings and four portables. The architect on the
