
Spring Hill, Florida (July 30, 2019) – Oak Hill Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Elizabeth R. Adams, DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice), MSN, RN, NEA-BC (Advanced Nurse Executive-Board Certified), as Chief Nursing Officer. Dr. Adams comes to Oak Hill Hospital with over 30 years in healthcare, and a diverse portfolio of experience serving in For-Profit Health Systems, Not-For-Profit, academic, rural and urban healthcare settings. She has a strong clinical, business, technology and strategy background. She is the President and CEO of Match Healthcare Design & Innovation, LLC, in Tacoma, Washington, a Senior Executive Healthcare Quality and Patient Safety Licensed Consulting Firm. Over the last several years, she served as Chief Nursing Executive for the largest Not-For-Profit Health System in Washington State, and as a board member for the Northwest Organization of Nurse Executives, and The Washington Center for Nursing. Previously, she served as a Chief Nurse in Florida and developed strong affiliations with state nursing organizations, research and academic centers. In Florida, she developed a scholarship to advance nursing education (The Servant Heart Scholarship) and served on various community outreach boards. In her new role, she looks forward to advancing nursing education, the profession, and those she is honored and humbled to serve.
Dr. Adams is married to Robert, who is a Healthcare Business Systems Analyst and they have grown children (Aulton, Nicole and Trevor) and two mini schnauzers, Walter and Penny. They enjoy fishing, boating and spending time with friends and family.
