The Future of Captioning Service Technology
Jon Gray is the Business Manager for CaptionMate, and his team has developed the next generation IPCTS (Internet Protocol Caption Telephone Service) technology for individuals with hearing loss. Jon will discuss the current state of IPCTS, provide an overview of CaptionMate and demonstrate their new product.
Jon oversees all aspects of CaptionMate’s product development, sales and strategy. With over 17 years of experience developing products for individuals with hearing loss, Jon previously served as CSO for Bellman & Symfon where he set up North American operations for the Swedish based company and jump-started sales past the million dollar mark. Jon is a Certified Product Manager (PCM III) and fluent in ASL (American Sign Language). He is an avid motorcycle rider and has a Bachelors degree from Florida State University.
