TAMPA, Fla. (July 18, 2019)—More than $100,000 in unclaimed funds will be forfeited unless the owners contact the Hillsborough Clerk of Court & Comptroller’s Office by Sept. 3.
The amounts range from as little as $11.00 to $15,000.00. In all, $131,591.30 is awaiting the rightful owners.
“We hope anyone who believes they are owed money will contact our office,’’ said Clerk of Court & Comptroller Pat Frank. “We would hate to see money go unclaimed.”
The money is related to court cases and involves things such as bonds and uncashed checks. Download the full list is here.
