Achieva Credit Union has been named as one of Florida’s 10 best credit unions, based on a national survey of banking and credit union customers conducted by Forbes with market research firm Statista.
Forbes surveyed more than 25,000 people around the U.S. about their banking relationships, with the financial institutions being rated on overall recommendations and customer satisfaction. Among the categories covered: trust, terms and conditions, branch services, digital services and financial advice.
Achieva ranked No. 9 on the list of Florida’s 10 best credit unions, a notable achievement given that only 3.1% of the nation’s financial institutions qualified for “best-in-state” status.
“We are extremely proud of making this list, which reflects both the quality of our personal service and the sophistication we offer with our digital and branch services,” said Achieva CEO Gary Regoli. “As a not-for-profit owned by our members, finding ways to meet their needs is everything to us.”
Credit unions as a whole did very well in the survey: While the average score for banks in the survey was 4.2 on a range of 1 to 5, credit unions averaged 4.5.
The Forbes ranking signifies the high level of Achieva’s customer service, part of an equation for success that also includes community support and employee satisfaction. Achieva currently has an 83% customer satisfaction rate based on 2018 results from the credit union’s customer experience survey.
Achieva is able to deliver on its strong service model thanks to its vibrant company culture, which includes everything from employees bringing their dogs to work, to rallying team members to brainstorm the next community event.
For seven consecutive years, Achieva has earned the Tampa Bay Times’ “Top Workplace” distinction, which is awarded to 100 companies across the Tampa Bay area, based on anonymous surveys completed by employees at each respective organization.
“Happy, satisfied employees who enjoy coming to work each day are the ones who deliver standout service,” Regoli said.
