SARASOTA, FL – Sarasota attorney J. Allison Archbold of the Archbold Law Firm, P.A., was a featured faculty member at the recent National Business Institute (NBI) seminar, “The Probate Process in Florida.” The two-day event – offered as continuing legal education for attorneys, financial planners, paralegals, tax professionals, CPAs and trust officers – explored all facets of the probate process, from steps and documentation when there’s no will and asset inventory and valuation, to tax considerations and dealing with creditors’ claims. Archbold was responsible for two presentations: one on tax deadlines, forms and returns, and the other on post-mortem tax planning.
Archbold has been practicing estate planning, probate, and trust administration in Sarasota since 2007. Prior to obtaining her Masters of Laws (LL.M.) in Estate Planning, she was a judge advocate in the U.S. Marine Corps. She is board certified in wills, trusts and estates, and has been named in Best Lawyers® in America (2017-2019).
