St. Petersburg, FL – June 19, 2019 – Author Rita Moreau has just released her latest Mary Catherine Mahoney mystery, The House on Xenia. Part of the Mary Catherine Mahoney (MC) mystery series, this novel can be read as a stand-alone book.
The House on Xenia has something for everyone! Wondering what the word Xenia means and why Moreau chose it for the title? Xenia refers to the Greek tradition of generous hospitality toward strangers. You’ll have to read the book and decide for yourself if that name “fits.” And, if you like psychic female sleuths, crazy family antics, government conspiracies, or even aliens, this quirky tale is for you.
Author Moreau says “The House of Xenia centers around a government cover-up. Pursued by military agents intent on keeping the secrets buried, MC will have to play by the house’s rules to expose an alien mystery.” The book poses the question of whether or not MC can reveal the cover-up, or will this dangerous hush job close her books forever.
Moreau will be hosting a “Library Read and Feed” event at the Indian Shore Library, on June 27th at 6 p.m. The beverages and appetizers will be inspired by the novel’s alien activity and Greek cuisine. The event is free, but attendees will need a ticket that can be picked up at the library during their regular operating hours prior to the event. And, as always, Moreau likes to “pay it forward” and will be donating the proceeds from this book launch to the library of Indian Shores.
