Energizing Our Chapter
David Croxton is an active member in HLAA National and the Lakeland Local Chapter and will be our guest speaker.
David’s hearing loss began in 1977 after being exposed to gunfire with unprotected ears. As a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), he took their Hearing Assistive Technologies (HAT) training course. His motivation for doing so was to create awareness, educate, inform, motivate and support others to take charge of their hearing health.
David is originally from Kissimmee. He and his wife Linda have been residents in Plant City for the past 31 years. He served as a Church Minister of Music for 48 years. Hearing loss became more of a challenge each year until retiring in 2009.
David’s presentation will include: “Tips on how to energize your chapter”
Everyone is welcome….our meetings are looped and captioned, so everyone can hear and understand. More about us at www.hla-lakeland.org
