Tampa, Florida – The Bay Area Advisors are proud to release new details on their annual fundraiser, Martinis for Moffitt, which benefits Moffitt Cancer Center. The 14th Annual Martinis for Moffitt will be held the evening of July 20th, 2019 at The Straz Center in Downtown Tampa, Florida, with high expectations of another record-breaking year and another sell-out crowd for this annual event. “We have some real exciting things in store for our guests and supporters,” said Ryan Conigliaro, Co-Chair for Martinis for Moffitt.
Positive Community Impact
Since 2005, and with the generous support of sponsors and more than 1,000 attendees each year, Martinis for Moffitt has become the largest external fundraising event for Moffitt Cancer Center raising over $1.5 million for their cancer research programs.
In 2018, the Bay Area Advisors donated $260,000 from proceeds tied to the Martinis for Moffitt event, with monies used to benefit both the Advanced Prostate Cancer Collaboration (APCC) and the Adolescent and Young Adult Program (AYA) at Moffitt Cancer Center. “We expect this year’s Martinis for Moffitt to generate much needed funds for Moffitt Cancer Center,” said Brady Diggs, Co-Chair of Martinis for Moffitt. “Moffitt Cancer Center is a jewel that we are blessed to have right here in our community.
