TAMPA, Fla. (June 7, 2019) — After a comprehensive search by the Nomination Committee, the Board of Directors of Frameworks of Tampa Bay, Inc. announce the appointment of Elizabeth A. Reedy-Foley as the new Chief Executive Officer of the organization effective January 22, 2019.
“We are fortunate to have someone of Elizabeth Reedy-Foley’s caliber and experience step up to lead Frameworks. We are at a critical moment and we need renewed leadership to successfully implement our strategy and take advantage of the opportunities ahead to expand the program throughout the Hillsborough school district. Reedy-Foley is a visionary with a proven track record of execution. She is a strong communicator with deep leadership capabilities and vast experience in federal, state and local education initiatives.”
Elizabeth joins Frameworks after a dedicated career of over 20 years advocating for and developing systems to enhance early education in Massachusetts. She has most recently served as the Vice President of the Workforce and Professional Development Division of Child Development and Education Inc. where she was responsible for the management of multi-million dollar state contracts/grants to provide workforce innovation, data analysis and competency development to ensure high quality opportunities to our youngest children. There is consensus among experts that a child’s experiences between ages zero and five have an enormous impact on his/her opportunity to thrive for the rest of his/her life and Elizabeth has worked tirelessly to support the enhancements of those experiences.
A native of SWFL, Elizabeth returns to the Tampa area to continue her career working on behalf of youth and families. Elizabeth welcomes the challenges and opportunities ahead focusing on school age children and ensuring they are provided the enhanced supports they need. She values and supports the social, emotional and academic development of all children. In her role as CEO, Reedy-Foley and the Frameworks team will build upon the momentum and strategically and systematically work with districts, school leaders, community partners and families to drive change and enrich the climate of collaboration on behalf of our youth.
“I will be joining Frameworks of Tampa Bay as the new CEO because I want to be a part of an organization where I believe the possibilities are limitless. This organization is fiercely committed to delivering high quality, comprehensive social and emotional learning supports to children and schools. The opportunities that lie ahead for Frameworks are enormous, and the ability to lead this next chapter is deeply humbling and incredibly exhilarating. I am focused on accelerating the innovation and execution that our students and teachers need from us. I couldn’t be more confident in our ability to succeed and make a vast difference in the lives of our youngest citizens, or more honored to lead this great organization.”
