The band was awarded the Bands of America division AA National champions, and both the marching band and our scholastic world colorguard were ranked in the top 5 in the nation. A special congratulations to Mr. DeLeon and our Tarpon Springs Jazz Ensemble students for being selected as one of 15 jazz ensembles to compete at the Essentially Ellington jazz competition at Lincoln Center in New York City. Most importantly we are very proud of the Conservatory’s collective GPA of 3.65 and the nearly one million dollars in academic and music scholarships earned by our Conservatory seniors. Special thank you to our community for their continued support of our amazing TSLCA students,” said Kevin Ford, director of the Tarpon Springs Leadership Conservatory for the Arts.
