| P1 unveils 3 Daughters Brewing as Title Sponsor for Race The Gulf Event at St. Pete Beach St. Pete Beach, FL – Powerboat P1, the world’s leading marine motorsport brand, has announced that 3 Daughters Brewing will be the principal sponsor of the powerboat and personal watercraft (pwc) racing event at St. Pete Beach, June 15th and 16th. Founded in 2013 and based in St. Petersburg, 3 Daughters Brewing is one of the largest breweries in Florida and will be the Official Hard Seltzer for the 2019 Race The Gulf event. Presented by Visit St. Pete Clearwater and hosted by The Don CeSar, this two-day event will feature a double bill of high speed P1 AquaX pwc action and P1 SuperStock powerboat racing. |
This will be the third year that Powerboat P1 has visited St. Pete Beach but the first time the fast, furious and free to watch event has been held at the Don CeSar hotel. Located on a pristine beach on the peninsular between Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, this majestic hotel has been welcoming visitors for nearly a century. | More than eighty P1 AquaX riders from up to ten countries are expected to compete, and the one-design P1 SuperStock racing will feature the new P1 Panther race boats with their enclosed cockpit and 300R Mercury Racing motor. Both the pwc racers and powerboats will reach speeds of over 80mph. Racing will take place close to the beach opposite The Don CeSar on Saturday, June 15th and Sunday, June 16th.
