Dr. Jenkins comes to Oak Hill Hospital and Nature Coast Surgical Specialists from Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas where he practiced as a full-time general surgeon since 2015.
Dr. Jenkins has been a full-time practicing surgeon for more than two decades. He completed his primary schooling, medical school and surgical training in South India where he consistently ranked first and won gold medals in his high school, college and medical school. After practicing surgery for five years in his home country of India, Dr. Jenkins moved to England to pursue higher surgical training at the University of Manchester, England where he later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Dr. Jenkins takes great pride in his continuous growth as a surgeon, having led the training and deployment of minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery in Southeast Kansas.
