SARASOTA, FL – Employees, clients and solar advocates gathered recently at Brilliant Harvest, LLC, Sarasota’s leading solar contractor, to celebrate the company’s 10 year anniversary. Guests enjoyed catered food and adult refreshments, as songs – most with the word “sun” in the title – kept the mood lively.

Founder and president Bill Johnson welcomed and thanked the attendees for their commitment to clean, renewable energy; for helping to inspire him through their knowledge and passion for environmental stewardship and technology; and for their trust in Brilliant Harvest. Commercial and residential clients in attendance shared their experiences with solar power and the Tesla Powerwall home battery system. A number of Brilliant Harvest clients are now net zero energy and love to show off their $9 electric bills.

Brilliant Harvest is state certified, NABCEP (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners) certified, and a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer. The company has installed solar energy systems for institutions throughout Tampa Bay, including the new St. Armands Parking Garage, Willis Smith Construction, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, Tampa Bay Watch, New College, Ringling College, the Sarasota Audubon Nature Center, Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast, Girls Inc., and many more.

“We have a lot of work to do over the next 10 years – the next decade is when we have to make significant headway in converting our society from one that runs primarily on fossil fuels to one that runs primarily on renewable energy,” said Johnson. “I can’t wait to be a part of making that happen.”
