Pasco, Hernando & Pinellas, Florida – (April 30, 2019) Medical Center of Trinity is proud to announce the winners of its annual Frist Employee, Physician, and Volunteer Humanitarian Awards.
This year recipient of the Frist Employee Humanitarian Award is Kaitlin Dilluvio, RN. The recipient of the Frist Volunteer Humanitarian Award is Judi Geller, and this year’s Frist Physician Humanitarian Physician Award recipient is Alene Wright, MD.
The Frist Humanitarian Award honors outstanding individuals for humanitarian and volunteer services. Named in honor of the late Thomas Frist, Sr., MD, founder of HCA and renowned humanitarian, this award recognizes individuals whose daily dedication and giving epitomize the highest standards of quality and personal commitment.
About Kaitlin Dillivio, RN
Kaitlin Dillivio, RN, has been with the facility for three years. In addition to her conscientious care of her patients, Kaitlin also volunteers at the Good Samaritan Clinic, which helps to provide free care to residents of Pasco County. She also volunteers as a grief support counselor by providing weekend retreats. Her passion for giving and helping extends working with troubled teens and assisting on various mission trips. Kaitlin can be relied on for extracurricular work throughout the hospital, such as facilitating the donation drive within the hospital for the Panhandle Post-Hurricane Michael relief fund. In her other spare time she facilitates the Caring Council and helps Medical Center of Trinity with its back to school program.
About Dr. Alene Wright
Alene Wright, MD, has been a member of the medical staff of Medical Center of Trinity for over seven years. She is board certified in general surgery and specializes in breast surgery, performing a variety of surgical procedures specializing in breast diseases and other general surgical conditions. Dr. Wright is an active participant in the Cancer Conference which brings cases for review and discussions among committee members. She has a reputation for empathetic care providing compassionate care to women facing difficult situations. In addition, Dr. Wright serves as faculty member in HCA’s Graduate Medical Education Program, providing direction to Medical Center of Trinity’s new residents. In her spare time, she partners with the Pasco County Health Department’s Breast and Cervical Cancer program ensuring that all women receive the care that is essential. Dr. Wright is not only a volunteer, but a board member of the Good Samaritan Health Clinic providing direction and professional expertise in the care of women and helping to provide quality care to eligible Pasco County residents free of charge.
About Judi Geller
Judi Geller has been a volunteer at Medical Center at Trinity for over seven years and has provided over 4,660 hours of service to the patients and staff of this hospital. In additional to those volunteer hours, she has also been elected by her peers to the Board of the Medical Center at Trinity Volunteers, Inc. Within the organization itself, she has a reputation for “going that extra mile, by volunteering for extra shifts when needed.” In addition, she is the organization’s fund-raising person for the last three years helping to raise over $10,000 in scholarships and assists with our community’s Special Olympics program.
