Tampa, FL – PulteGroup’s West Florida Division has been named to the Top Small Workplaces list by the Tampa Bay Times. This is the first time Pulte has been recognized by the publication.
Nearly 200 businesses completed a 24-question survey, which included employee opinions on effectiveness, engagement, management, leadership and more. More than 40,000 questionnaires were returned to the Tampa Bay Times staff before companies were grouped into small, medium and large company categories. Pulte ranked 34th on the small companies list and has 129 employees locally.
“We would not be who we are without the people we have,” said Sean Strickler, PulteGroup West Florida’s Division president. “It’s important that each of our 129 employees in every department are excited to come to work and build an environment our team can call home.”
The national homebuilder is responsible for bringing new and award-winning residential communities across a number of brands to the Tampa Bay area to fit the needs of residents. Just recently, the 55+ active adult Del Webb Stone Creek community—one of the company’s largest communities in the U.S.– completed a $1.5 million-plus beautification of amenities. The modernization includes a top-to-bottom transformation of Elan Spa, Reunion Clubhouse and Stone Creek Grille at the Golf Club. Del Webb Bexley, which held its grand opening earlier this year, is the first Del Webb community to be built from the ground up in the Tampa Bay area since 1960. At the center of the community sits the 19,000 square-foot, multi-million dollar coastal style clubhouse, The Meridian at Bexley.
The team was also recently honored with two grand prize award wins at the annual Parade of Homes. Geared towards first-time homebuyers, the Centex Fraser model at Rego Palms took home the award for best model in the $150,000-$199,000 category. The Summerwood model at Del Webb Bexley in Land O’Lakes also took home the award for the $350,000-$399,000 category. Pulte Homes has also brought the rare opportunity for luxury single-family homes in Pinellas County with the addition of Enclave at Palm Harbor to its portfolio.
The division has also made a philanthropic commitment to give back to the community. Recent efforts include partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay by packing meals that went directly to the Tampa Bay Christian Academy’s summer program and raising over $109,000 at its golf tournament for The Children’s Home Network to help fund operations at Kids Village, Adolescents in Motherhood and other programs.
