Eaton Realty’s headquarters went green this month with a rooftop installation of 104 solar panels. The installed solar panels will produce more than enough power to sustain 100 percent of operations throughout the daylight hours. The excess energy produced during the day will be pushed back into the grid, stored for later use. The stored energy will then be purchased to run operations on cloudy days or in the evenings when the sun is not out.
Recognizing that nearly one million solar energy systems have been installed on rooftops across the U.S., solar panel installation is becoming as popular and accessible as the next kitchen remodel. Eaton Realty, known for their environmentally friendly practices, has been at the forefront of this trend for several years.
