GULFPORT, FLORIDA: A group art exhibit from May 30 through June 30 will help celebrate LGBTQ Pride Month, featuring the work of several LGBTQ and allied visual artists living or working in or with ties to Gulfport. The Third Annual “ArtOut: LGBTQ Artists in Gulfport” will include selected art work by a growing roster of artists including Cheryl Bell, Elissa Cardamone, Michael Chapman, Rick Coleman, Noah Enders, Eagle Finnegan, Eric Folsom, Janet Folsom,
Eunice Fisher, Amy Howell, Cedar Kindy, Wesley Ray, Yolanda Roman, Debbie Stevenson, Doug Warren and Debbie Wolfe. Media represented in the exhibit will include acrylics, oils, watercolors, glass, ceramics, photography, mixed media and more.
The work will be on display in the atrium space of Gulfport Public Library, 5501 28th Avenue South. An opening reception will be held at the Library on Thursday, May 30 at 7 p.m. Complimentary beverages and hors d’oeuvre will be offered. The reception is free and open to the public.
ArtOut is part of a full month of programs sponsored by the LGBTQ Resource Center of the Gulfport Public Library to celebrate Pride Month in June.
