Hyde Park Village and Humane Society of Tampa Bay to Host Easter Egg Hunt for Four-Legged Friends

TAMPA, FL (April 8, 2019) — Grab your dogs and kids and hop your way over to Hyde Park Village on Saturday, April 13 for a four-legged Easter egg hunt. Hyde Park Village, the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, and Downtown Dogs are teaming up to host the first ever Hyde Park Hop, with family-friendly activities for all ages and breeds to enjoy.

Doggy Easter egg hunts:
Dogs will be barking with enthusiasm as they sniff out Easter eggs. Several egg hunts are scheduled throughout the event. Dogs will be pleasantly surprised with what they find inside the eggs!

Easter bunny photo opportunity:
The Easter bunny will be at the event to take pictures with both kids and dogs. All photos taken with the Easter bunny will require a $10 donation to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.

Petting area for adoptions:
The Humane Society of Tampa Bay will have adoptable pups on site so that families can play with them to see if it’s a match.

Bunny petting area: The Humane Society of Tampa will bring a few bunnies for families to pet.

Caricature artist:
A caricature artist will paint portraits of both kids and dogs.

Face painting:
Kids can get their face painted by a professional face painter.

Arts & crafts:
Kids can explore their creative side by engaging in arts and crafts. Color Me Mine will be providing supplies.

This free event, which includes music, runs from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m. at Hyde Park Village, located at 1602 W Snow Circle, Tampa, FL 33606. Food will be available for purchase.
