
Florida Assisted Living Association Foundation 2019 Spring Scholarship Winner

Florida Assisted Living Association (FALA) is continuing to be a leader in healthcare services by backing member facilities in the advancement of their employee’s education. As part of these efforts, FALA is proudly awarding a student scholarship locally to Jovanna Bailey, of Helping Heart, LLC. Helping Heart is a health services agency that offers a wide range of care programs include assisted living, elderly care, respite care and various services for the disabled, in Tampa, FL. “It is a very rewarding feeling to help impact the future of residents, said Jovanna, “The Assisted Living Facility setting allows me to help those that spent many of their years helping me, when they were the same age as me.”
The Florida Assisted Living Association is the oldest assisted living association in the state. FALA has been providing advocacy, education, and regulatory support for our members for over 25 years. FALA is the largest state association representing more than 650 assisted living facilities and adult family care homes and nearly 300 associate members who provide products and services to assisted living.

The FALA Foundation scholarship process is open annually each year from January 1st – December 5th. Member facilities are encouraged to have interested personnel apply for an upcoming scholarship by visiting www.fala.org/foundation-scholarship.
