See local models strut their stuff on the catwalk to showcase the must-have fashions for spring at the 21st Annual Spring Fashion Show and Shopping Soiree, hosted by Dillard’s to benefit Dress for Success Tampa Bay. The fashion show and fundraiser will be held on Thursday, April 18, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at Dillard’s International Mall, 2223 N. Westshore Boulevard, #500, in Tampa.
“Come out and enjoy food, fun, and fashion for a good cause,” said Dress for Success Tampa Bay Executive Director Katie McGill.
In addition to the fashion show, the evening features light refreshments, raffle prizes, live entertainment, and a chance to shop the new spring fashions. A single ticket for the event costs $40 and can be purchased at www.dfsstepinstyle.eventbrite.com. Sponsorships are also still available.
“Giving a hand by purchasing a ticket or sponsorship gives a hand up and opens doors to a new way of life, thereby changing lives forever,” said Donna Douglas, Dress for Success Tampa Bay Chairperson.
“This year’s theme is ‘Step in Style,’ as we help our clients step into their future,” added Event Co-Chair Patsy Greene.
Models will include former Dress for Success Tampa Bay clients, women from the community, and professional Dillard’s models.
The mission of Dress for Success Tampa Bay is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. The nonprofit helped more than 2,000 women in 2018 and received the WEDU “Be More Empowered” award in 2015.
