Richard DiCicco, M.D.is recognized as the hospital’s Physician of the Year
Tampa, Florida (March 29, 2019) – Memorial Hospital of Tampa is celebrating National Doctors’ Day by recognizing the hard work and dedication of their medical staff for their tireless and inspirational dedication to our community. National Doctors’ Day takes place on March 30 every year and is a national observance aimed at appreciating physicians who help save lives everywhere.
The highlight of the celebration was the announcement of the hospital’s 2019 Physician of the Year, voted upon by the hospital staff, as a doctor who consistently demonstrates the mission, vision and values of the hospital: Richard DiCicco, M.D., Bariatric Surgery. “This was an unexpected, pleasant surprise,” stated Dr. DiCicco. “I’m honored to have been selected by my coworkers for such an award.”
Memorial Hospital, South Tampa’s only Patient Safety Grade ‘A’ hospital, is especially proud of the accomplished, best-in-class physicians who comprise their medical staff.
