Women Leadership Increases at Tech Company Following Recent Announcement of PowerChord’s First Female Vice President
In January 2019, PowerChord, a St. Petersburg-based tech company announced the designation of its first female Vice President. Following this announcement, Lanny Tucker, CEO of PowerChord is announcing two additional designations of female Vice Presidents, as well as appointing three women to director-level positions as the company acts as a trailblazer in its industry.
“As PowerChord continues to grow we want to make sure female leadership continues to grow in parallel. Women in tech have proven to be key resources in leading the charge on innovation, development, and overall success of products and technologies. Michelle Tipton – Vice President of Finance
Tipton served as Financial Controller as well as Accountant and HR Specialist with PowerChord over the past seven years prior to her promotion to Vice President of Finance. Tipton has more than a decade of experience in the industry and drives financial leadership through her passion for growth. She manages business needs in payroll, benefits administration and other needed Human Resource functions as well as overseeing the Finance department applying generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to SaaS, producing Financial Statements, presenting financial information, creating forecasts, managing audits and corporate taxes, preparing the research and experimentation tax credits (R&D tax credits) and supporting continued global expansion. Tipton’s education includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Florida.
Stephanie Shreve – Vice President of Customer Success
Shreve served as PowerChord’s Director of Partner Engagement for seven years prior to her appointment as Vice President of Customer Success this year. She is a 20-year industry veteran with a history of demonstrated success in marketing and brand messaging. Shreve provides a seamless on-boarding program for new PowerChord clients in order to expedite each company’s time to launch. Shreve utilizes the latest software and digital marketing technology to optimize the customer journey to ensure that our clients’ brands and products are found locally. Her education includes a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Southeast Missouri State University. She also is a member of the Forbes Agency Council.
Nicole Clemens – Director of People & Culture
Clemons has been named Director of People and Culture. In her new role, Clemens continues to drive key functions of Human Resources and business strategy with a modern perspective built upon creating a collaborative culture and ensuring equality for all employees. Since joining PowerChord in 2015, Clemens has assisted in expanding employee benefits and programs to encourage internal growth. In her time at PowerChord, Clemens has spearheaded instituting paid paternity leave, implemented a company-wide KPI and bonus program, and has coordinated culture events to engage employees.
Kate Dalley – Director of Product Management
Kate Dalley has been named Director of Product Management. As part of her role at PowerChord, Dalley is dedicated to providing scalable and efficient solutions to our local and global markets. She is also responsible for assessing ongoing industry needs to ensure the company is providing innovative and transformational SaaS services, while also continuing to define the ongoing evolution of the PowerChord Platform. A large believer in processes to eliminate product friction points, Dalley is extremely driven in her role to provide customers with critical tools and resources that can truly make an impact on their long-term business strategies.
