Hillel Academy Invites Public to Celebrate Shmirat HaAdamah with Free Popsicles on the Playground Event

WHAT:                  Shmirat HaAdamah (Caring for the Earth celebration) Popsicles on the Playground

WHEN:                  Sunday, March 31, 10 to 11:30 a.m.

DETAILS:              The public is invited to celebrate Shmirat HaAdamah, the Jewish holiday signifying caring for the earth. Families are invited to create crafts, participate in a scavenger hunt in the beautiful butterfly garden, enjoy an outdoor PJ Story Time event and tour the Hillel Academy. 

                                Popsicyles will be plenty and the playground will be hopping! This event is most appropriate for families with children ages six months to eight years.

                                Shmirat HaAdamah is a tradition teaching that part of humankind’s purpose is to take care of the world in which we live.
