Alyson Lundell shares a behind-the-scenes look at the Halloween Horror Nights global campaign
Sarasota – February 29, 2019 – The Central West Coast chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (CWC-FPRA) will host a professional development luncheon featuring guest speaker Alyson Lundell, APR, CPRC, Senior Director of Corporate Communications for Universal Orlando Resort. Lundell will share a behind-the-scenes look at the public relations efforts that have helped launch the Halloween Horror Nights global campaign to massive success. The program, which includes lunch, takes place on Wednesday, March 20, 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Sage

Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights invites guests to step into their favorite horror films and TV shows, offering fresh new horrors to delight and terrify visitors from around the globe.
During the presentation, attendees will learn how Universal’s public relations team brings “scary good” media tactics to life year after year.
Lundell has been a PR practitioner for more than 15 years. She spent the majority of her career in the tourism industry promoting central Florida’s major attractions. Her current role with Universal Orlando has involved attraction openings including Race Through New York starring Jimmy Fallon, Universal’s Volcano Bay Water Theme Park and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade which opened in 2010, followed by the 2014 opening of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. She is also responsible for overseeing publicity efforts around Universal’s annual events, international media efforts, and corporate issues. She is an active member of the Florida Public Relations Association, currently serving as President-Elect.
