Tampa, FL., Feb 22, 2019 – There’s a whole new meaning behind “pot of gold” this St. Patrick’s Day! The Gasparilla International Food Festival presented by City Festivals is back and yes, there will be lots of pots stirring up in Ybor as local chefs compete for the taste buds of Tampa on Sunday, March 17th, 2019.
From under the sea to Barbeque, Caribbean, and even Irish, this year’s Gasparilla International Food Fest is guaranteed to be the ultimate foodie haven!
A twist from its previous staging, in addition to enjoy unlimited delicious bites, this year’s celebration welcomes everyone to come out in St.Paddy’s Day festive colors for chances to win giveaways, meet and greet Tampa’s tallest Leprechaun, and party in the park with pop-up dance offs from salsa to kumpa.
Throughout the evening , the event will also feature a “Foodie Contest” to challenge the real foodies at the fest!
To make the evening more exciting, guests who have registered their FREE tickets to the event and come out in green are entered automatically into a raffle to win a vacation! Guests who come dressed as leprechauns or pirates will enjoy two raffle tickets for twice the luck.
The event will be hosted in the National Historic District, Ybor City at the Centennial Park from 3p- 8p, proudly supporting local bay area caterers, vendors, and artists. Serving a greater cause, the event also benefits Tours & Mentors, a global initiative encouraging travelers to leave a positive impact everywhere they go.
