
Adams and Reese is pleased to announce that Andrew J. McBride has been appointed the Partner in Charge of the firm’s St. Petersburg office by Managing Partner Gif Thornton. The firm has a Partner in Charge in each of its offices throughout the southern United States and Washington, D.C.
McBride’s diverse Florida-based litigation and transactional practice focuses on construction, real estate transactions and community association litigation, as well as banking, commercial, bankruptcy, foreclosure and creditors’ rights matters. A member of the firm’s financial services team, he advises banks and other distressed debt purchasers and also documents, negotiates, and closes complex commercial real estate and loan transactions, construction loan transactions and workouts.
He also centers his practice on Florida’s large manufactured housing industry, counseling property-owner clients to help them sort through a myriad of concerns.
An active member of the Florida legal community, McBride is a member of the St. Petersburg Bar Association.
McBride received his J.D. from the Florida State University College of Law in 2009 and his B.A. from Seattle Pacific University in 2003.
